JAHBULONG - Eclectic Poison Tones

Eclectic Poison Tones is the brand new mixture of sounds and images created by the “fuzzlovers"  trio JAHBULONG. The album is like a flow of acidic mantras, rich with dark atmospheres and full of distortions. The cover concept is a collaboration with the visionary illustrator Nino Cammarata and celebrates the 420th anniversary of Giordano Bruno’s death, the controversial figure who radically changed the religious and philosophical world. The record is the result of the sound processing of the band's musical influences which run from the 70s psychedelia to the grunge of Seattle of the 90s, all mixed with echoes taken from the Black Sabbath, the most important band for the three. The lyrics talk about different scenarios and offer a wide range of shades but they all bring you to the loss of consciousness. So, before placing the needle on the vinyl, get "stoned" and let yourself fly into the smokes of this sound journey!
"Under The Influence Of THE FOOL" starts with a Sabbathian riff and reaches a distorted and thundering ending, crossing spatial sound expansions.
"THE TOWER Of The Broken Bones" begins as a ballad with a southern rock flavor and then it flows to stike the sound walls, so dear to Sleep. Moreover the piece is permeated by Cantrell school influences and by grunge echoes, but reproposed in a doom version.
"The Eclipse Of THE EMPRESS" revolves around a thick mantra, which rolls without any breath to the abyss, like a stone. Then suddendly the piece diverts to 70s solos and airy refrains.
"THE EREMITE Tired Out (Sweed Dreams)" is the acid and lysergic closure of the album, here funereals silences whisper behind flows of vibrant distortions, to culminate towards a hallucinatory ending.
